On 21 January 2013 in Brussels DG Enlargement organized the kick-off meeting of the IPA Civil Society Facility financed projects. The Center for the Study of Democracy is coordinator of one of the financed projects, entitled Civil Society for Good Governance and Anti-Corruption in Southeast Europe: Capacity Building for Monitoring, Advocacy and Awareness Raising. The project has as an objective to continue the mission of the SELDIinitiative. It will aim to contribute to a dynamic civil society in the region, capable of participating in public debate and influencing policy and decision-making process in the area of anti-corruption and good governance. The project has gathered an anti-corruption and good governance coalition of likeminded CSOs in South-East Europe, involving partners from nine countries (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia Kosovo, FYR Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Turkey).
