International Anti-Corruption Summer School: Applications and Registration open

The Regional Good Governance Public-Private Partnership Platform (R2G4P) – an international consortium of applied research organisations in the field of good governance and anti-corruption is organising a one-day summer school on 8 June 2022 in Zagreb for current and aspiring practitioners. We therefore are pleased to invite senior students, graduates, and early-career researchers to provide theoretical and practical knowledge on the latest developments in studying corruption and its harmful impacts on society. We welcome individuals from the public, private, non-governmental and academic sectors, and from all academic backgrounds with a research and professional interest in South East Europe. The participants at the summer school (8 June 2022) will be able to also take part in the regional forum held on 7 June 2022 on the same location, and submerge in current policy debates, as well as participate in Q&A sessions, brainstorming and exercises. The summer school features two thematic sessions.

The first panel of the summer school is dedicated to the conceptual background of procurement integrity. The second panel will reveal how experts’ opinion and company data could be used to assess corruption, state capture and policy measures at national, sectoral and institutional level. More information about the topics under discussion and the panelists are available in the agenda and the leaflet.

Technical requirements
Mobile phones with web-browser functionality will be needed as a minimum requirement for answering online polls. It is however recommended to also bring laptops, if possible, in order to benefit from the full interactive summer school experience.
